RewriteRule ^/?(.*)$ ws://192.168.1.All-In-One Computer Aided Scanning Program It is obvious that the problem is in some changes to the web socket. The frontend works,īut a "no link" warning is displayed at the top of the UI screen, Until recently, I used rdio-scanner v4, running on a dedicated host (192.168.1.222),Īccess to the host from the internet was provided through a web server running on a separate host (192.168.1.111),Īfter upgrading to version 6, the reverse proxy stopped working properly. I currently have 3 different scanners feeding 3 different sound cards (2 with Voxcall and one with this). Yes you can miss transmissions this way if the scanner is busy recording something that you turned off on the Rdio-Scanner side, but with enough scanners feeding the system you could get around that to some extent. This is a nice way to integrate your scanner into your Rdio-Scanner setup giving you the ability to enable and disable the frequencies you do and don't want to hear. Now, if all goes well, when ProScan detects something to record, it will create the mp3 in the C:\ProScan\Recordings directory, then Rdio-Scanner will ingest it in via the Dirwatch into your new System using the System ID number you created in both ProScan and Rdio-Scanner, and then it will create Talkgroups using the frequency (without the dots) as the talkgroup number.

  • Leave "Type", "Talkgroup", and Frequency as defaulted.
  • Set the "Mask" setting to "#DATE #TIME #SYS #TG".
  • Set "System" to the "System" name you created in step 6 above.
  • Set the directory in the new Dirwatch to: "C:\Proscan\Recordings" (assuming you installed to the default directory).

Create a new "Dirwatch" in Rdio-Scanner.Under this "System" set "Auto Populate" to enabled (slider button to the right).Under this "System" set the "Id" to the exact same number you used in step 3 above (example: 123456789).In Rdio-Scanner create a new "System" (name it whatever you want). In ProScan, under the "Options" menu and then the "Recorder" tab, under the "Custom Filename Format" section, set it to: "%YY%M%DD %TT %G %FT".Give this "Group" a numeric name that will ultimately be a "System ID" in Rdio-Scanner (example: 123456789) Under this "System" create a new "Group".Set the options for this system to Record "All Channels".Create a new "System" in the ProScan Database (name it whatever you want).Other than that, they other keys were figuring out the right file name options in ProScan and in Rdio-Scanner to get them to play nicely (steps 5 & 13 below are key).

The fact that they do this is what makes this work so well.

The key things are the fact that ProScan automatically puts the frequency of an analog channel in as the talkgroup. I can't speak to if it will work with Trunked channels, but I suspect it would. I'm sure it would work the same with any scanner supported by ProScan. My setup was with conventional analog channels using the latest version of ProScan & 6.07 of Rdio-Scanner using a Uniden BR-330T. These instructions assume you have some basic knowledge of ProScan & Rdio-Scanner, but if you do, you can probably have this setup going in less than 10 minutes. Some of what I am doing is crazy and complicated, but tonight I figured out something that I think might interest some people and it was actually not all that difficult.įor anyone with ProScan, you can tie your ProScan setup together with Rdio-Scanner fairly easily, so while Rdio-Scanner is obviously not directly supported by ProScan, it just takes a tiny bit of customization to get it to work. So far I have mostly used it with Voxcall which works great, but I have been doing some creative stuff with Dirwatch. I live in an area where there isn't much digital yet, so I have been using Rdio-Scanner for conventional analog purposes more than anything else.
